Taking its title from Moshekwa Langa's installation, ›The Mountains of My Youth—A Novel‹ (1997), Inga Somdyala’s exhibition turns to the mountain as a place where experience exceeds the moment of its occurrence, continuing to shape the ways a life is lived and a practice is formed.
