ATLAS HOUSE, IPSWICH featuring ALEX ROBBINS August 4 – September 26, 2026 Atlas House presents a single painting by artist Alex Robbins titled “Landscape with Stream and Weir” that reimagines Thomas Gainsborough’s pastoral Suffolk landscape through a process of manual reproduction and colour inversion. Working within the confines of a historic artwork – literally within the brushstrokes of another artist – the painting shifts attention away from the image and towards the physical dynamics of both perception and artistic value.
